Well only 24 hours to go and we will be on our flight to Vietnam, starting to get excited.  We fly out at 11.35pm from Brisbane on Singapore Airlines and with a 4 hour stopover in Changi Airport, Singapore before flying on to Hanoi,.   Will be in Hanoi, Vietnam at lunchtime on Thursday.  I have been in contact with the guesthouse in the Old Quarter in Hanoi to arrange for the hotel driver to pick us up, saves dicking around trying to get good, cheap transport in a new country.
